Smokinʼ Salmon and Almond Dip

1/2 cup cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
cracked black pepper to taste
1 cup smoked almonds
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup smoked salmon, chopped

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, chives and garlic salt. Mix until smooth and
then add the mayonnaise and cracked black pepper. Set aside. Place the smoked
almonds in a food processor and pulse until the almonds are ground into a fine texture.
Add the oil and butter and process until smooth. In a small,clear glass serving bowl
place a layer of one half of the cream cheese mixture. Top with a layer of half of the
smoked almond butter and then half a cup of the smoked salmon. Repeat the three
layers again and chill the dip in the refrigerator until one hour before serving. Serve with
bread or crackers.
