Wildfire Spreads, Burning More Than 10-Thousand Acres; 2500 Buildings Threatened

Tuolumne County, California (CNN) - A wildfire jumps a highway in California, spreading as it burns more than 10-thousand acres.
The rim fire was first reported Saturday afternoon in the Stanislaus national forest.
It crossed highway 120 as it spread.
The U.S. forest service says the fire is threatening about 2,500 buildings.
Already, five outbuildings and two homes have been destroyed.
