Hailey Post Office Provides Service For Evacuated Customers

Hailey, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - For the customers that have been evacuated by the Beaver Creek wildfire, the Post Office said they will be holding the mail. Customers served by the rural routes may temporarily pick up the mail at the Hailey Post Office on Main street. There are 672 addresses that are impacted officials with the post office said. Evacuated postal customers served by rural routes may temporarily pick up their mail at the Hailey Post Office, 820 S. Main St., which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Customers are asked to present photo identification when picking up their mail. The phone number for the Hailey Post Office is 208-788-2276.
Despite some evacuated areas being moved back to pre-evacuation levels, to ensure the security of the mail, all mail will continue to be held at the Hailey Post Office for pick up until the impacted areas have been completely removed from any evacuated list.

Decisions on future changes to mail delivery will be made and updated after consulting with local emergency managers. Mail delivery will continue in areas where it is safe to do so. All Post Offices in Idaho are open at this time.
