St. Luke’s Wood River Hospital Remains Open During Pre-Evacuation

Ketchum, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Officials with the St. Luke’s Wood River Hospital say they remain open and are not under threat at this time. But, they add, are being proactive by reducing the non-essential staff. Officials say at this time the Emergency Room is still fully functioning and all the core services remain open. They are still transferring patients on an emergent basis as normal when they need specialized care not provided by the facility.

The Hailey Clinic is able to take “urgent care” type patients and is open until 6:00 pm today and 8:00 am – 2:00 pm on Saturday. For patients that live in the South Valley we encourage you to utilize those services if possible. However, if you are experiencing chest pain, chest tightness, shortness of breath or extreme, sudden fatigue you should immediately come to the Emergency Room.
