Blaine County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Here’s an update on Intermountain Gas Company’s actions in the area:
Due to the continued spread of the Beaver Creek fire in the Hailey/Ketchum area, as a safety precaution, Intermountain Gas Company has continued to shut down its gas system in those areas threatened by the blaze.

Most recently, gas service was shut off on the west side of Hailey at Aspen Lakes Drive, and on West Bullion and Little Indio. Residents on Little Indio and West Bullion are being allowed to return. Gas customers there can contact Intermountain Gas customer service at 1-800 548-3679 to schedule a relight. IGC crews are currently working in the area. Gas service at Aspen Lakes Drive will remain off for the time being.

Currently, the shutdown includes all areas west of ID 75 from Deer Creek Rd, NW of Hailey, northward to Owl Rock Rd. just south of the St. Luke’s Wood River facility. At this time, the shutdowns affect about 400 gas customers.

Intermountain Gas crews will begin inspecting the system and restoring natural gas service in the shutdown or evacuated areas when it’s safe to return. Residents are advised to follow all evacuation orders issued by the Blaine County Sheriff’s department and other State and Federal officials.
