Powder In Letter Sent To New Mexico Governor's Office
Santa Fe, New Mexico (CNN) - A white powdery substance was found in a letter addressed to the governor of New Mexico.
The Santa Fe office of New Mexico governor Susana Martinez was closed, and the ventilation system was shut off.
Hazmat, state police and FBI agents showed up to investigate.
A secretary and a state police officer were exposed to the substance, which was later found to be non-toxic.
It's not clear whether the substance was mailed directly to the governor.
She wasn't in the building at the time, as she was in Albuquerque.
