Southern California Mountain Fire Grows

By Paul Johnson

Riverside County, California (CNN) - About six-thousand people have fled a wildfire burning out of control in the mountains about 100-miles southeast of Los Angeles.
Almost 3,000 firefighters are battling the flames.
The fire has already burned almost 23,000 acres and damaged or destroyed several homes and buildings.
The weather isn't helping with temperatures high and humidity low.
As of this evening, the fire was only 15 percent contained.
