Man Accused Of Threatening To Kill TV Anchors

Maricopa County, Arizona (CNN) - A New York man heads to an Arizona jail cell after allegedly stalking and threatening to kill two nationally-known TV anchorwomen.
48-year-old David Simpson waived his right to fight extradition after being arrested with numerous weapons.
The Maricopa county sheriff's office says Simpson was driving south from bath, New York, with guns, binoculars, zip ties, a knife, and a police radio.
They say he threatened to tie the two anchorwomen to a tree naked and -- quote -- "leave them to suffer all night" before slitting their throats.
Police say Simpson was angry about the two t-v personalities' coverage of the Jodi Arias trial -- in which she was found guilty of murdering her ex-boyfriend in Arizona.
Police say Simpson made the threats in front of coworkers and on social media.
