Police Investigating Theft Of Tour Van Belonging To 80's Rock Band "Flock Of Seagulls"

Downey, California (CNN) - Authorities in southern California are on the look-out for van full of stolen musical equipment belonging to the 80's rock band "flock of seagulls".
Surveillance video from the hotel where the band was staying while on tour caught the crime as it happened.
In a matter of seconds, the thief broke into the van and drove off in it.
"Flock of seagulls" is best known for the 1982 hit "I ran (so far away).
The thief got away with the band's entire sound system, instruments, as well as two computer hard drives with all the music from lead singer mike score's upcoming solo album.
"Those guys that stole our van out there give us our stuff back and let us go on and be a band."
"It's 18 months work. My first ever solo project, it may just be thrown in the bin by somebody."
Following the theft, "flock of seagulls" played its final concert of the tour in Woodland Hills, California using rented instruments.
