Boise Police Arrest Two Women Following Overnight Robbery Of Convenience Store

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) - Police in Boise were called to a convenience store in the 2500 block of West Fairview Avenue shortly before 9pm Thursday night. This on a report of a robbery of the store. Multiple witnesses tell police that a woman walked into the store, made a threatening statement and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and drove off. Authorities from the Boise Police department say the witnesses were able to give officers a good description of the suspect and the vehicle, a Subaru with a bike on the rack on the back of the car.
At about 1:30 this morning, patrol officers saw what they thought was the vehicle, parked at a convenience store near West Boise Avenue and South Protest Road. Officers stopped and talked with a woman near the vehicle who matched the suspect description. She was identified as Katlin Hoffman. Officers were able to find evidence linking Hoffman to the robbery of the first convenience store some four hours earlier. A second woman was located with Hoffman, identified as Jade Wake. Officers were also able to develop evidence Wake was an accessory to the crime.
Katlin M. Hoffman, 26 of Boise was charged with Robbery and Jade A. Wake, 29 of Boise was charged with Accessory to Robbery.
