Las Vegas, Nevada (CNN) - Two high school sweethearts got married in a very unexpected place -- the reno-tahoe international airport.
Navy sailor Dylan Ruffer was returning from an 11-month tour in war-torn Syria.
Madison Meinhardt was in the middle of the airport waiting in her wedding dress.
Dozens of people crowded near the escalators to welcome Dylan home and witness a beautiful wedding of the two 19-year olds from Chester, California.
The new Mr. And Mrs. Dylan Ruffer spoke to a reporter just moments after saying "I do."
Trying not to get sick by being so nervous.
He never got a rehearsal. He did pretty good.
The two planned to marry a year ago, but Dylan’s deployment was unexpectedly extended.
Three weeks ago, Madison e-mailed the airport and said they wanted to be married as fast as possible.
The airport and a number of other businesses set it all up for them complete with flowers, a reception with a DJ and the marriage license.
