Northern California Gets Some Rain

By Paul Johnson

Marian County, California ( CNN ) - A lot of people in northern California may be pretty happy after getting some much needed rain.
Most of the state has been in a drought.
Marin county water officials say for the first time this winter, there is enough precipitation for the trees and plants.
This storm system is known as the 'pineapple express' and is expected to bring as much as six inches of rain to the county, which had been forced to tap into its reserve reservoir because of drought conditions.
Several other counties have seen lower water levels as well.
