Obama To Deliver Aid To Drought-Stricken California

California (CNN) - President Obama is in California today and he's bringing along some good news for farming communities in the grips of a devastating drought.
Obama is expected to announce a new federal initiative to give $100,000,000 in livestock disaster assistance to farmers and producers.
He also plans to dole out money to fund water conservation projects.
The president is also expected to announce aid for states across the country affected by the drought.
The program is expected to be up and running within 60 days.
