Small Plane Wreckage Recovered

By Paul Johnson

San Pablo Bay, California (CNN) - Salvage crews raised the wreckage of a small plane that plunged into San Pablo bay.
It went down Sunday after apparently colliding with another plane mid-air near the Richmond Bridge.
A large crane hoisted the wreckage onto a barge to bring it to shore.
The pilot's body was recovered as well, but the victim's name has not been released.
It's still unclear why the two aircraft collided.
The other plane landed safely.
Federal transportation and aviation authorities continue to investigate the incident.
