Wasilla, Alaska (CNN) - A small plane got stuck in a group of trees just after takeoff at the airport in Wasilla, Alaska Sunday afternoon.
State troopers say a sudden gust of crosswind pushed the Taylorcraft plane into the trees.
The plane was stuck nearly 50 feet off the ground.
The 58-year-old pilot was not hurt.
But he wasn't able to get out of the aircraft until emergency responders arrived.
They used a truck with crane to rescue him.
The NTSB was notified and will investigate the incident.
