Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Idaho Department of corrections say they are searching for a 44 year old St. Anthony Work Camp inmate who walked away from his job in the community. Authorities say Frank C. Smith was reported missing at 10:10 pm Monday. His job was a night shift janitor in St. Anthony.
Smith’s criminal record includes convictions in Kootenai and Idaho counties for two counts of illegal possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and one count of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.

Smith was eligible to be considered for parole on March 4, 2015. His full-term release date was March 3, 2018.

Anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement agency.

The St. Anthony work camp is a 240 bed correctional facility in the eastern Idaho town. The work camp gives low-risk offenders the opportunity to develop good work habits and marketable job skills while earning money to offset the costs of their incarceration, compensate their victims and prepare for the future.
