Air St. Luke's Receives A Generous Donation

By Ben Lyda

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Thursday afternoon Idaho Central Credit Union made a generous donation of $25,000 to Air St. Luke’s.
With this money the new hanger at St. Luke’s Magic Valley is the now home to the Air St. Luke’s chopper.
Due to new FAA regulations the chopper must be kept inside a hanger during the winter months.
Its previous location was in Jerome with the crew quarters a mile and a half away.
We spoke to Air St. Luke’s medical director Kevin Kraal about the importance of this donation.
"Its importance is that having the ship in a hanger here at the hospital next to the crew quarters will decrease response times by ten to fifteen minutes for the winter months."
St. Luke’s is truly great full for this donation as they know it will help them to serve the residents of the magic valley.
