Bike And Build Visits The Magic Valley

By Ben Lyda

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Our local Habitat For Humanity has a unique bunch of extra helping hands today.
The group is called Bike And Build and consists of young adults from all over the country.
They ride their bikes, starting with a back tire in the Atlantic ocean building homes along the way until the front tire is in the Pacific ocean.
Today the group worked at the habitats Re–Store building a much needed fence.
Trip leader David Shirk says,
"It takes a special person to want to ride their bicycle across the country and build houses for sure. People do it for a lot of different reasons, do it for the adventure, for the challenge of it and also a lot of people really care about affordable housing."
