Craters of the Moon, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The body that was found by searchers looking for two missing women in Craters of the Moon has been misidentified.

Two Boise area women went missing earlier this week at Craters of the Moon.

On Wednesday, a body was found. It was initially believed to be that of 63-year-old Jodean Elliot-Blakeslee.

However, Traci Weaver, National Park Service Public Information Officer, said that the preliminary identification of the body as Elliott-Blakeslee was incorrect. The body found was actually that of her hiking partner, 69-year-old Amy Linkert.

Searchers continue to look for Blakeslee-Elliot.
