Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) We've gone through all the boys athletes of the season for the 2013, 2014 school year.

With that said, it's time to recognize our Athlete of the Year.

He was a force to be reckoned with in whatever sport he played.
Our Athlete of the Year is Kade Crossland.

Kade's one of those kids, he's got great athleticism, he can do anything whether its football, baseball, golf, track and field but obviously we don't have time for that. But he can pretty well do it all," explains Buhl Athletic Director, Stacy Wilson.

This is his domain. Call him clutch. The rain man. But whenever you do call him. He may not answer. Kade's a busy guy. From football in the fall, to basketball and then golf in the spring... He does it all. And he does it well. Exceptionally well. His hardware collection is heavy. Three sports. 3 state titles. So many moments of glory.

As Mitch Oparnico, the golf coach for Buhl adds, "it's probably that state basketball title. That game winning shot he hit. That fadeaway at the last 8 or seven seconds...I think that put, knowing how he got there, with those two bad shots, sticking those shots from 175"

But ask him and his best memories are thanks to those around him...

Kade Crossland, Athlete of the Year says, "just being able to play with my friends. And winning with them. Winning the state championships with my brother and his younger friends. I mean I had a great senior year and I wouldn't have been able to win state without them in basketball and golf probably.

So whats his secret?

"Have a little swagger when you go out there, don't be too cocky or confident. You gotta have confidence you're gonna do good...I listen to beats before games, it helps me out, it gets me in the zone," adds Crossland.

As with any superstar, its time for Kade to evolve at the next level.

At Corban University, Kade will play ball both on the court and on the green.
