CSI Dance Team Resurrects “Thriller” For 30th Anniversary
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Thirty years ago, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video exploded onto MTV's music channel.
Dancers and makeup artists from the College of Southern Idaho pooled their talents today.
The "Thriller" dance was the final part of a fine arts presentation.
Witches danced, zombies alternately read books and tore them to shreds.
An excerpt from the 'Dreams' dance show was also featured.
“I'm excited to do it. I know not everybody has done it, obviously. The 30 year anniversary, it's just really exciting to be a part of something that's been going for years and years and years,” says Marco Grajeda, “Thriller” dancer.
Dancers handed out candy and children's books to the kids after the performance.
You can see a longer version of the 'Dreams' dance project tomorrow and Thursday nights.
The performance will be in the CSI Fine Arts auditorium.
Tickets are 15 dollars a piece, and the proceeds will benefit the CSI dance department.
You can get your tickets at the CSI box office, at the door, or by calling 732-6288.
