Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A 72 year old Northern California resident was arrested in Twin Falls after authorities say he violated his parole. Luis Robledo served 25 years in a state prison in Northern California for a first degree murder conviction stemming from a conviction in 1989.

Jerry Guiterrez with the U.S. Marshal’s office in California would only say Robledo broke his condition of parole and a warrant for his arrest was issued. Details about the parole violation weren’t released. The violation occurred in northern California officials say. When he was arrested he was on parole after being released from prison earlier this year. He was apparently visiting family in the Twin Falls area.

Robledo is facing another possible 25 year to life sentence when he appears before the parole board. Twin Falls Police assisted the U.S. Marshal’s office in making the arrest.
