Car Crash Near Hollister Sends One To The Hospital

Hollister, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) One man was sent to the hospital after a one car crash on US93, at about milepost 27, on Saturday.

The Idaho State Police say that at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 12th, 33-year-old Brandon Helsley of Twin Falls was driving north on US93 in a 2000 Audi A6. He swerved across the southbound lane and drove into the parking lot of Country Haven General Store. The Audi overturned when he hit a rock. His car then hit several concrete posts before it came to rest in the parking lot.

Helsley was not wearing a seatbelt. He was transported by air ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Regional. He was later transferred to University of Utah hospital in Salt Lake City.
