City Of Twin Falls Unaffiliated With Private Mailer

By Andrew Reed

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The City of Twin Falls has been notified by American Water Resources, or AWR, a publicly traded water and wastewater company based in Voorhees, New Jersey, that the company plans to send mailers to citizens in the City of Twin Falls regarding water line protection. The City of Twin Falls would like citizens to know that it is not affiliated with AWR and is in no way involved in the mailer or with AWR.

The City was informed Friday, Dec. 20, that AWR will send a mailer to citizens in coming weeks, which is intended to promote the sale of a “water line protection program” to consumers. The company has recommended partnering with the City to “educate property owners” about water line responsibilities and “programs to protect them from any unexpected service line repair bills.” However, the City has not communicated with, nor is it a partner with, American Water Resources.

Citizens who may have questions about the mailer should contact the City of Twin Falls at 735-7287.
