Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The search for a new president at CSI is in full swing.

Today, the presidential search committee interviewed six final candidates. The committee will narrow their search to three finalists by the end of the day.

No names will be released before next Tuesday.

Doug Maughan, public relations director at the college, explains the excitement surrounding the process.

"It’s an exciting time for CSI; there is a spirit of anticipation. I think everyone is anxious to see who the next person will be that is leading the college, what their value system is, and what the next few years will be like," Maughan said.

This is the fourth month of a nationwide search that began in June.

A public forum will take place Tuesday, October 15th to meet the final candidates before a decision is made.
