Fire Damages Jerome Residence

Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Two Jerome residents were displaced Thursday after a fire damaged their home.

The Jerome Fire Department responded to the call around 4:30 pm at 113 East Ave E.

The fire started on the east side of the home and quickly spread to the attic. Fire Chief Tom Hughes said crews quickly extinguished the flames. At this time they don't know what caused the fire to break out. The home is not livable and the two people that live at the home have been displaced and are staying with relatives.

No one was home at the time, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
