Atwater, California (CNN) Wednesday marked the final flight of an iconic aircraft...

This C-170 plane flew President Ronald Reagan in the 1980s - and every president since up to George W. Bush.

Wednesday the plane arrived at its new home: The Castle Air Museum in Atwater, California.

Representatives for the museum said they were thrilled by the addition, noting that in the past presidential planes have either been auctioned off to other countries or ended up on the scrap heap.

This massive piece of U.S. history is now on-display to museum visitors daily.
