Friday Morning Results From High School Rodeo Championships

Rock Springs, Wyoming ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Two teens from Murtaugh had excellent performances Friday morning at the National High School Rodeo Championships and it's a family affair for the Mussmans.

As Kynsee took second in barrel racing with a time of 17.725 and for the second round, that puts her in 23rd place. Her overall score of 35 point 767 is 22nd in the nation right now.

Garrett scored a 142 in cutting, good enough for third place. He's tied for 11th in the second round and his overall score of 276 is 19th.

In the second round of breakaway roping, Jaylee Stimpson of Paul is 18th.

Gooding's Bailey Gough is currently 16th in the second round of pole bending.

Jesse Nelson of Jerome just barely cracked the top 25 for overall leaders in bareback riding.

For team scores, Idaho is 6th overall, the boys are 3rd and girls are 16th in the nation at this point in time.
