By Joey Martin

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Magic Valley Habitat for Humanity unveiled their newest achievement this Monday. And in doing so, held a ceremonial ribbon cutting to commemorate the occasion.

This year alone the Magic Valley Habitat for Humanity has built 5 homes for families across southern Idaho.

And on Monday they welcomed their newest family home.

Representatives from around the Twin Falls area showed up and gave their support.

With the goal of putting much deserving families into great homes, the Habitat for humanity is not about hand–outs.

Each family is required to follow a set of guidelines to make sure it's paid forward.

“Our families all put in 3 to 500 working hours. They purchase their home from Habitat for Humanity at a zero interest mortgage for the cost only for the home. We are just delighted to be spending time with families here in the Magic Valley to help them find a simple decent place to call their home.”
Said Linda Fleming for the Magic Valley Habitat for Humanity

This is the last home Habitat will be undertaking for the year.
