High School Football Preview: Twin Falls Bruins

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The Twin Falls Bruins football team went on a long winning streak last year en route to the conference championship.

They achieved a 7-3 record, losing in the first round of the playoffs to Century.

As juniors, Kaleb Jones and Kordell Williams split time at quarterback last year, but it's too early to tell if that's the same plan this year.

Twin lost a large group of seniors last year including Jacob Johnson, who his teammates claim, carried the team.

"This year without them we're trying to take what they left us with and try to run with it. We're hoping we can match what we did last year with a conference championship," says Jones.

Williams adds, "one of our goals is to get past the first round of the playoffs so that's what we're focusing on right now."

"We want to push deeper into the playoffs we got to get there first, that's going, there's some question marks, we need to get into a game type of situation and that's the unknown right now," exclaims head coach Allyn Reynolds.

Twin Falls takes on Pocatello August 29th at Holt Arena.
