Hundreds Evacuated From Southern California Town After Explosive Device Found

Solvang, California (CNN) - Hundreds of people were evacuated from a southern California town after a suspected explosive device was found in its downtown.
The Santa Barbara county sheriff's office said on social media that between 500 and 700 homes and businesses were evacuated in Solvang.
It says a ”potentially explosive military ordnance" was discovered.
The department's bomb squad as well as the explosives ordnance disposal team from Vandenberg air force base is investigating.
