Jimmie Van Zandt Concert At Snake Harley-Davidson
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Snake Harley-Davidson is locally owned again, and they're throwing a three day celebration.
In fact the celebration is underway right now. Two live bands will be playing through 9:30 tonight. The gates open back up at 9:00 tomorrow morning. Live music starts up again at 2:00 in the afternoon, followed by a live auction to benefit Camp Rainbow Gold. Then southern rock singer Jimmie Van Zandt will appear live in concert at 8:00 tomorrow night.
Owner T.J. Woodhall says, "He's family to Lynyrd Skynyrd. He plays a lot of their old tunes, pays tribute to them. It's real exciting to have him here in town. I've seen him several times, and he's our first choice to bring in for this."
Admission for Snake Harley-Davidson's grand re-opening party is $20 for all three days. That's at 2404 Addison Avenue East in Twin Falls.
Sunday morning the celebration continues. Motor cycle riders will accompany the bus to Camp Rainbow Gold north of Ketchum. They'll leave Snake Harley-Davidson between 10:00 and 10:30 Sunday morning.
Then the bikers will arrive at the Bellevue City Park at 300 Elm Street. Mahoney's Bar and Grill will serve a barbecue lunch. Afterward, the riders will escort the bus to Camp Rainbow Gold. For more information, call 539-6885.
