Jodi Arias Wants Lead Defense Attorney Off Her Case
Phoenix, Arizona (CNN) Jodi Arias, who was convicted in May of killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, wants the lead attorney off her case.
In a 12-page hand-written missive, Arias explains that her current attorney Kirk Nurmi has "little to no tolerance" for her "emotional and psychological shortcomings."
In the letter, she says Nurmi makes her feel " like crap" and that she hasn't spoken with him since May 23.
Arias claims that Nurmi once told her "you're not going to get your way just because you throw a tantrum."
She does however speak highly of her co-counsel Jennifer Willmott, who Arias says "treats me with kindness and dignity."
