Kids Get Experience In Pee Wee Calf Showing

Filer, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) One thing farm kids learn early is how to take care of animals.

There's plenty that goes into that, but it helps kids learn skills they need later when they grow up. That's why three year old Brazon Wells took part in the Pee Wee calf showing demonstration.

Farm mom Stephanie Wells says, "Mainly responsibility, how to take care of animals, how to get out in public, just to raise something. So when he gets older, he can have those skills to go out into life and on the farm."

All of the little Pee Wees won medals with red, white, and blue ribbons with miniature trophies. Stephanie wells hopes that reward for a finished product will help him want to keep raising animals for the fair.
