Local Group Makes Quilts For A Good Cause

By KMVT News

Buhl, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A local group is weaving up quilts for a good cause.

Hospice Visions and one of the Hospice Visions spiritual counselors are working with a quilting group in Buhl.

The quilts are made out of donated fabric and then taken to residents of the Evergreen Senior Living Center in Buhl.

In addition to the quilts, they also make memory bears.

Memory bears are made from special clothing to help people remember their loved ones.

"We've had a lot of fabric donated for this project, and they've been doing it for the last six months. The idea is to be able to give every resident of every assisted living their own quilted lap blanket. And so we are wanting some more fabric for that project," said Jennifer Petterson, Hospice Visions Director.

If you want to donate fabric, you can call the Twin Falls Hospice Visions office at 208-735-0121.

You can also stop by the Hospice Visions office in Twin Falls on Park View Drive or in Buhl on Main Street.
