By Jay Michaels

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) In the last year, five businesses have moved into Magic Valley or announced plans to expand here.

Those include Chobani and Glanbia in Twin Falls, McKain Foods in Burley, Calva-Brewster in Rupert, and Monsanto in Filer. Idaho Governor Butch Otter explains Magic Valley's methods of attracting and growing businesses can be used to help other Idaho cities and towns.

Otter says, "There will be the plays, the issues, the protocols that we then in turn need to incorporate in an Idaho plan."

Otter points out Idaho grows seven different kinds of wood, which can be used in all kinds of products. He reveals Idaho can use that resource to create all kinds of finished wood products, and benefit the state economy even more.
