Mariners Get Jackson In 3-Way Trade

Seattle, Washington ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV) The Seattle Mariners get Detroit center fielder Austin Jackson, as part of a three–way trade with the Tigers and Rays.

The Mariners send infielder Nick Franklin to the Rays and ace pitcher David Price goes to Detroit.

The 27–year old is expected to join the Mariners on Friday when they open a three–game series against Baltimore.

As for Jackson, he's hitting .273 with 4 homers, 25 doubles, 5 triples and 33 RBI's in this season.

He's also making $4 million this year.

The M's are 56-52, 10.5 back of the first–place Athletics.
