Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) If you were out and about in Twin Falls Saturday, you might have saw dozens of motorcycle riders.

That's because the American Legion held their first ever western area romp for motorcycle riders Saturday.

ROMP stands for Ride on Military Pride. The riders started Saturday morning in Pocatello, rode through the Craters of the Moon and ended at Dierkes Lake. In all. they drove approximately two hundred miles.

ROMP is a fundraiser and barbecue lunch for all the American Legion posts to raise money for the legacy fund.

"The Legacy Fund is a college fund for all the children who have lost a parent in a conflict since the Gulf War, to send all of them to college," adds Chip Wangelin.

The American Legion was pleased with Saturday's showing, having bikers from many different states participate.

Plans are already underway for next years ROMP. To donate to the legacy fund, just visit any American Legion post nationwide.
