Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Boise police say they were called to check out a 24 year old female after a tow truck driver called saying he was helping her change a tire. The call just before midnight Tuesday September 17, sent authorities to the on-ramp just south of Federal Way to South Brodway Avenue. The tow driver told officers the tire could not be changed because the front right corner of the vehicle had been damaged. He said he also noticed the woman smelled of alcohol. The man told officers he feared the woman had been in a crash and was possibly driving while intoxicated so he called police. Officers conducted a DUI investigation which led to the arrest of Mountain Home resident Lydia N. Hughes. A breath test showed a .207/.206 BrAC. Officers found this was the suspect's third DUI arrest, with the last two convictions for DUI in November and February, 2011. Officers also found last night’s arrest was the suspect's second enhanced DUI, meaning a blood alcohol level of .20 or higher. She was charged with Felony DUI.
