Nampa Police Continue To Search For Suspects Following Murder

Nampa, Idaho - ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Nampa Police are searching for several persons of interest after a Nampa man was found lying in a Walgreens parking lot with a gunshot wound early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired at the Walgreens on 12th Avenue and 7th Street South shortly before 2:40 a.m. Sunday. Police say 26-year-old Pedro Martin Jr. suffered a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, but later died.
Police say that they don't believe the crime is gang-related. They say they are trying to figure out if this has to do with a relationship Martin may have been in.
Police say there was an altercation called in that may have something to do with the shooting. "There was an earlier incident where he had been involved. Not his name but other people's names had come up and we're interviewing those folks to see if there is some connection to that," Sgt Joe Ramirez said.
Police are now seeking: James Whitewater, Natalie Whitewater, Wayne Canaday and Allison Yancey for information or involvement with the case. Natalie Whitewater, 27, lives in Middleton. She is 5'1", 180 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes.

James Whitewater, 28, lives in Nampa. He is 6'2", 255 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Allison Yancey, 34, who lives in Middleton. She is 5'7", 179 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Wayne Canaday, 32, who lives in Emmett. He is 5'9", 165 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Officers said evidence from the case shows that one or more of these people could be suspects. Officers said the Whitewater's were last seen driving a 2003 red Ford Expedition with the license plate: 2C GS472.
