Perrine Bridge Festival Comes To A Close
Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The Perrine Bridge Festival wrapped up Saturday afternoon.
The festival isn't just a big draw for base jumpers, but families as well. This includes an obstacle course for kids of all abilities, which is new this year, plus a 5K run-walk and a run, bike, paddle competition.
Also, numerous vendor booths saw dozens of children testing their skills at spin art or the home depot kids workshop.
"I bring them for watching the parachutes, the jumps and the bridge. And all the fun they have the kids that paint face, the workshops with Home Depot, and most of all I have fun with my kids," adds Miguel who checked out the festival.
Formerly called Parachutes for Kids, the Perrine Bridge Festival started back in 2005. It was a way to raise awareness and funds for children in the Magic Valley who have special needs.
The event has raised more than $156,000.
