Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Area football players are sporting the color pink all in the to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Eight teams are participating this weekend at frontier field in Twin Falls.

Derek Chesley started the tournament in memory of his grandmother whom he lost in October of 2005.

Proceeds are going towards Intermountain Home Care in Burley where his grandmother lived while she was sick.

"She died in October and she died from breast cancer, it always makes me think of her. So I was thinking what can I do in her name to remember her, so I figure what better than football because football and breast cancer are just a tandem, so I decided to put together a flag football tournament," adds Chesley.

In its first year, the tournament raised $600, but for the last two, the event has grossed at least $1,000 and continues to grow in size.

You still have time to see some flag football action, the tourney continues through Sunday afternoon.
