Police Close Case On Shannon Rowe Accident On Kimberly Road

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Twin Falls Police have closed the case on an accident that claimed the life of a man who was crossing Kimberly road in April. Shannon Rowe was near the intersection of Locust Street and Kimberly Road when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Debra McGrath of Twin Falls. According to police reports, they were called to the scene just before 10pm where they found the victim laying face down in the road. Police say a witness who was with Rowe say the victim walked across the street from the Pioneer Club to the Pocket. He then turned around and began to walk north, back onto Kimberly road. That’s when the vehicle, traveling west driven by McGrath, struck Rowe. The witness who was with the victim told police they were not in the crosswalk at the time. According to police, Rowe’s blood alcohol level was .176. Toxicology reports cleared the driver of the vehicle.
Police say there will be no charges filed in the case, which was closed May 16.
