Police Find Over 200 Marijuana Plants In Boise Home

Boise, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Police in Boise discovered more than 200 marijuana plants inside a bedroom of a Boise home. Authorities arrested 44 year old Anthony M. Allen on two separate charges of Trafficking in a Controlled substance with possession of more than a pound of marijuana and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Allen was arrested after officers discovered a marijuana grow inside the suspect’s home in the 2500 block of South Kerr Place. Officers received a citizen tip indicating possible drug activity at the home earlier this year. Following up on those reports, officers obtained additional evidence and obtained a search warrant for the property on Thursday October 10. As the warrant was being served, officers located the suspect driving a short distance away and conducted a traffic stop.
