Rupert Celebrates City's Renovated Gun Range

By Benjamin Lyda

Cowboys and guns seem to fit in just fine at the City of Rupert's new gun range.

Saturday the community came out to attend the open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate the massive renovations.

A generous grant from the Idaho Department Of Fish And Game made this upgrade possible.

The city says the range will benefit the whole community.

Not only is it a better training facility for law enforcement, but it will also be used for youth gun training and safety courses.

The site also features a brand new rifle range and the whole complex will be open to the public.
