Rupert Shooting Range Open For Business

Rupert, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) 25 people volunteer to keep the Outdoor Shooting Complex north of Rupert up and running.

If you like shooting guns, those volunteers can help sight in your rifle, as well as spotting in your scope. A grant from the Idaho Fish and Game helped set up these two firing ranges.

Rangemaster Loren Jackson says, "The range is absolutely free. If people want to donate money, we have donation boxes set up at the pistol and rifle site. We're not asking for donations. If they wish, that's up to them, it's optional."

The Rupert Shooting Complex is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, call the Rupert Police Department at
