Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Members of the community gathered Thursday evening to learn about the SAGE Truck Driving School.

The open house was held at the College Of Southern Idaho to give information to those interested in truck driving careers.

The school, which is located at CSI's campus in Burley, trains students so they can earn their Class–A commercial licenses.

But, officials are looking to add another course which may help those who don't want to drive to Burley.

"We started the CSI SAGE Truck Driving school in January, and we opened up in the Mini–Cassia center in Burley. Now what we're trying to do is explore the idea of actually holding training classes here at the main campus in Twin Falls," explains Lucky Bourn, Program Director, SAGE Truck Driving Schools.

Students can opt for a four or five week course depending on the amount of class driving they choose.

Along with earning the Class–A license.... Those who pass the course also receive endorsements for double and triple trailers, tankers and hazardous materials.

If you have any additional questions, contact Lucky Bourn at (208) 878-5802.
