Search For Missing Woman In Craters Of The Moon Continues

Craters of the Moon National Monument, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV) The search for a missing hiker at Craters of the Moon National Monument enters its third week.

Originally reported missing on September 24th, the search for Dr. Jodean "Jo" Elliot-Blakeslee will continue this weekend, with approximately 20 searchers led by National Park Service and Butte County Sheriff's Office personnel.

The family has assembled a group of able bodied hikers and volunteers who will provide assistance with the search throughout the coming weekend.

Remember that Craters of the Moon National Monument and all other national park units are currently closed to the public due to the government shutdown.
