Search Underway In New Mexico For Nine Missing Teens

By KMVT News

Albuquerque, New Mexico (CNN) Authorities in New Mexico are searching for nine teenagers missing from a youth ranch in the southwestern part of the state.

Governor Susana Martinez says law enforcement officials went to the Tierra Blanca Ranch Friday to serve a search warrant.

But she says no one was there.

“No, they have not found the children, as of yet. Law enforcement and child social workers did show up with court orders to interview the children and to interview anyone else who was at the residence. There was no one there."

The ranch works with at-risk youth.

The Albuquerque Journal reported last week state investigators were looking into allegations of abuse.
