The fourth annual "Slush Cup Pond Skim" taking place at Pomerelle ski resort today.

Nine skiers and snowboarders of all ages signed up to take part in the event, with the goal to skim over a pond without falling in.

The pond, which took three days to make, is 75 feet long and 15 feet wide... And for those who did fall in, around 4 feet deep.

Christian Cohee explains what it's like to participate, saying, “You got to prepare yourself to get cold. I was just running around in my shorts before and I don't know, it was really bad."

Trophies were awarded for first, second, and third place in both divisions.

An award was also given for best costume.
